About Camping
Bewl Water’s campsite offers a place for relaxation and serenity in a beautiful natural setting. If you are looking for peace and quiet, a place to unwind and enjoy a tranquil break in a lakeside setting, camping at Bewl Water will have all of your boxes ticked.
Bewl Water is the perfect environment for families, and couples who want a chance to enjoy the outdoors and embrace a real break away in the countryside.
Our pitches are set out in an open space with plenty of room for children, quiet areas to doze in the summer sun and plenty of communal space to meet your fellow campers.
Bewl Water is the perfect base for your family staycation situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty less than an hour from London and 35 minutes from the Kent and Sussex coast. The local area boasts several National Trust properties, the National Pinetum, mountain biking tracks as well as fine dining restaurants, breweries and superb country pubs.
The 2023 camping season will run from May – September.
No single night bookings are available, a minimum 2 nights stay must be booked.
No group bookings are allowed – if a group booking is suspected your booking will be cancelled.
Visitors – For security and safety reasons, campers are not allowed to have visitors onto their pitches.
Terms and Conditions – The Site Manager reserves the right to exclude customers for breach of the Bewl Water camping terms and conditions.
*Please note that check-in is from 2pm-6pm. If you feel that you will be later than 6pm, please call us in advance on 07767 375115. The entrance gates close at 8pm. Anyone arriving after 8pm will be unable to gain access to the campsite.

Facilities:
- The Waterfront café overlooking the reservoir open 7 days a week, including our new ice cream parlour.
- Aqua Park – inflatable obstacles on the lake.
- Trout fishing available from boats and bank.
- Bike hire to enjoy the 12.5 mile round reservoir route.
- Laser challenge sessions available throughout the holidays and at weekends.
- Miles of walking and cycling.
- Showers and toilets open 24 hrs.
- Fresh cold water taps in all camping fields.
- Washing up stations with hot water.
Zone A – Pitches and are approximately 8m x 12m. Parking in the adjacent camping car park
Zone B – Pitches for Campervans up to 7m in Length, Tent pitches approximately 8m x 10m – Parking on Pitch
Zone C – Pitches and are approximately 8m x 10m. Cars-drop off only. Parking in adjacent camping car park.
We do not allow music, large groups or stag and hen parties so that you can expect peace and quiet throughout your stay.
