Bewl Water, southeast England’s largest reservoir on the border of Kent and Sussex, is celebrating National Camping Month and Great Outdoors Month with an extraordinary giveaway.
It’s valued at over £650, making it the reservoir’s biggest prize to date where one lucky winner and three of their friends will be treated to a two-night glamping experience. They’ll also enjoy a fantastic bundle of goodies including hampers from internationally renowned sports brands Trespass and Nikwax.
Located just off the A21, Bewl Water boasts 800 acres of picturesque landscapes where a range of healthy outdoor activities can be enjoyed.
Visitors of all ages can take part in water sports like paddleboarding and canoeing, hire a bike, challenge each other to a game of laser tag, or tackle the giant inflatable obstacle course named Aqua Park.
During spring and summer, visitors can also camp at Bewl Water, turning any trip into a mini getaway. There are 80 spacious pitches plus glamping options, and the Instagram giveaway marks the start of a successful new season.
The lucky winner together with three friends will have the exclusive opportunity to stay in one of Bewl Water’s luxuriously furnished Mongolian yurts for two nights.
The spacious accommodation is lined with bunting and features a large double bed and two comfortable singles and is dressed in charming rustic furniture. There’s a cosy wood-burning stove and modern conveniences like tea and coffee-making facilities, outdoor seating, and a viewpoint for stargazing.
The prize package also includes free tickets to one of Bewl Water’s fantastic activities on offer plus a 20% discount on all other attractions.
Additionally, the winner will enjoy complimentary bike hire to help take in the sites, a welcome hamper filled with treats, and fresh pastries each morning. An indulgent afternoon tea picnic will also be included.
To ensure that glampers are well-equipped for their adventure, Bewl Water has partnered with Trespass, one of the UK’s most successful outdoor clothing retailers.
Trespass will be gifting a selection of camping essentials including adult and child camping chairs, a pink and blue baseball cap and sun hat, a bat and ball set, a gas camping stove, an aluminium camping kettle, a travel mask and earplugs, and a mega-size microfiber towel.
Nikwax, an innovative company specialising in easy-to-use after-care treatments for outdoor fabrics, will also contribute a care kit of cleaning, waterproofing and UV protection products.
