The event takes place in memory of Andrew ‘Bart’ Simpson, a double Olympic medallist who unfortunately passed away in 2013 whilst training for the 34th America’s Cup. In 2014 we saw the arrival of Bart’s Bash, which has been verified by The Guinness Book of Records as being ‘The Largest Sailing Race in the World’ and Bewl Water are thrilled to be a part of it. The event will take place on 16th-17th September and is a great day out for all- sailors and spectators. We will have lots of fun activities going on, including cake sales, BBQ, cardboard boat race, fancy dress and much much more.
