Whether you’re racing for team-building, raising money for a great cause, or just soaking up the summer sunshine with friends and family, this thrilling event is the perfect way to enjoy the school summer holidays.
After all the action on the water, continue the celebrations on land with a jam-packed day of entertainment and fun for all ages at Bewl Water’s Family Fun Day – a brilliant way to round off the summer over the August bank holiday weekend!
The Dragon Boat Festival
Ideal for corporate team-building, charity fundraising, or simply having fun with friends and family, the Dragon Boat Race Festival offers teams the chance to race against each other in beautiful dragon boats—large canoe-like vessels decorated with intricately carved dragon heads and tails, paying homage to a history that dates back over 2,000 years!
Paddling in time with the beat of the drum, the festival welcomes participants of all abilities with no prior experience needed as full training is provided on the day!
For safety reasons, participants must be at least 12 years old. Beyond that, if you can hold a paddle and sit in a boat, you’re ready to join in the fun!
