After exploring Bewl Water, recharge at the Waterfront Café. Enjoy stunning views of South East England’s largest reservoir while you sip freshly brewed coffee, delicious hot chocolate, or tuck into tasty snacks and hearty meals.
With lunch boxes for kids, plenty of ice cream, and a warm welcome for four-legged friends, it’s the perfect spot to relax and refuel.
Please note, hot food is only available from Wednesday to Sunday.
Dog-Friendly Days Out
The Waterfront Café at Bewl Water is dog friendly. We offer fresh water for your pup and tasty treats to keep them happy while you enjoy a delicious meal. It’s the perfect spot for a dog-friendly day out!
In partnership with Polygon Pets Ltd, we also have a self-service dog wash —ideal for keeping your pup clean after those muddy walks! We kindly ask that all dogs be kept on leads and are well-behaved when entering the café.
*Please note, for the safety of wildlife and our protected species, dogs are not allowed in the Nature Reserve, cannot swim in the reservoir or drink its water, and are not permitted in the children’s playground.
The Ice Cream Parlour
Cool off and treat the whole family at Bewl Water’s Ice Cream Parlour, open on sunny weekends and throughout half term and summer holidays from 11am to 5pm.
Enjoy fresh ice cream from Kelly’s of Cornwall, made with locally-produced milk and cream. Choose from delicious flavours like triple chocolate, cookies and cream, bubble gum, and vegan vanilla. For something extra refreshing, try a slushy or creamy milkshake!
We even have dog-friendly ice cream, so your furry friend can join in the fun too.
Located next to the Waterfront Café, the Ice Cream Parlour is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a sweet treat during your visit to Bewl Water.
