It costs just £10 to park a horse box at Bewl Water for the day (payable in The Waterfront Café) and there is designated horse box parking in the main visitor car park. Please note that the paths are much quieter midweek and at the beginning of the day.
The 12.5 mile route is open to horses from April 1st – October 30th and is made up of surfaced trails, forest paths, meadows and country lanes.
Paths, from the visitor's car park as far as Hatherells Jetty on the clockwise route and to Seven Pound Creek Jetty on the anti-clockwise route, are open to cyclists and horses throughout the winter. Due to wet conditions, after this point the route is only open to walkers who must stay on the pathways at all times.
