Anglers Safety and Fishery Regulations

Please note that only 2 anglers are allowed in a boat and boats may only be hired by persons of 18 years and over.

USE of KILL CORDSBrown Trout should be returned all season .

Each boat engine has a red ‘Kill Cord’ located on the front panel.

One end of this has a plastic fork which must be inserted beneath the red button for the engine to run while the other end should be worn around wrist or clipped to a firm point on your clothing whenever the boat is underway.

In the event of you falling from the boat while underway the cord will pull the fork from the red button stopping the engine.

This will ensure that the boat remains close to you as well as preventing the uncontrolled boat from injuring you or others.

PLEASE USE THE CORD WHENEVER YOU USE THE BOAT ENGINE BUT ENSURE THAT IT IS LEFT ATTACHED TO ENGINE AFTER USE
